The Cultural Council would like to invite all townspeople and friends to a community sing-a-long and open mic night in conjunction with this year’s Old Home Day.
Mark your calendars for Friday evening, June 19, 2020 outside, under the tent, at the First Religious Society at 27 School St. The sing-a-long will be led by the Carlisle Community Chorus and we expect to hear your best sing-in-the-shower voices. The sing-a-long starts at 6:30 pm, the open mic at 7:00 pm and the event ends at 9:00 pm. Limited table seating so bring a blanket or beach chair.
The open mic night will be an opportunity for locals to share their talent with the community: sing, play an instrument, recite spoken word or go for your own stand up act. This event is family friendly and material should be appropriate for all ages.
There will be two microphones and a small p.a. system for use by performers. All performances will be limited to one piece/song per performer. Sign up on site beginning at 6:30.
We hope to see you there!
