OHD Needs Your Support!
As we move into spring, planning for Old Home Day is well underway!
This year Carlisle Old Home Day will take place on Saturday, June 20, 2026. Associated events will take place throughout the week and weekend.
There are perennial favorites such as the Great Parade, Country Fair and Kids Games, as well as newer offerings like Williams Be Yourself Parkour challenge and the Music Festival.
OHD truly has something for everyone! It is a wonderful time to connect with old friends and meet new ones. OHD changes each year as we continue to experience the events another year older, perhaps with new family members, or remembering those who are no longer with us. Each year OHD provides us with the wonderful opportunity to make new memories. None of this would be possible without the generous support of our volunteers and our community.
Although OHD is a town-wide event, and we are grateful for the time put in by DPW, The Police and Fire Departments, we receive no direct support from the Town of Carlisle. To put on the many events, we rely solely on donations from the community. Carlisle Old Home Day is run completely by volunteers - no one gets paid!
It may surprise you to learn that the cost to put on OHD runs from $10,000 to $12,000 each year. From equipment rentals (tents, tables, port-a-johns and more), facility and insurance fees, and printing and mailing fees, the costs add up quickly.
Our fundraising goal this year is $11,000. People like you are the reason OHD exists today. Please join us in supporting our community and keeping OHD thriving for years to come!
Donations fund OHD events, the proceeds of which fund the OHD annual scholarships, creating a cycle where celebrating the community's past helps fund its future.
