It is with great sadness that we said goodbye to Dave Reed in February 2022. Dave, along with his lovely wife Florence, were the co-Chairpersons for Old Home Day for over 40 years. They worked diligently and tirelessly to bring memorable Old Home Day events to the community of Carlisle. In 2019, the Town of Carlisle recognized their tremendous efforts to the community over the years and presented them with the Honored Citizens Award.
Before he and Florence came to Carlisle, Dave had a distinguished career at NASA working on the Apollo program as a Flight Dynamics Officer.
Dave's son Jason and his talented wife Lara, along with Florence, run the OHD Kids Games on the Common.

Country Fair - June 25, 2022
Old Home Day Country Fair Marketplace has moved down Church Street to the Carlisle School parking area. If you haven’t been there recently, you’ll be amazed at the new solar collecting arrays. They’re very tall and cover most of the parking area. They should provide good sun and weather protection for Country Fair Marketplace.
The Country Fair allows artists, artisans, and other creative people to have a place to showcase their creations. If you have an idea or an object you want to show your fellow Carlisle residents – Carlisle Old Home Day Country Fair is your venue. Whether you are new to town or a lifelong resident, come learn what your town organizations are doing. Experience (and perhaps buy) some of the creativity and craftsmanship of your fellow Carlisle friends.
Exhibitor space applications are available by emailing [email protected], or use the form below.
