Carlisle's Grand Parade
Bring on your neighborhood floats and entries
Lets see (and hear) your "Sounds of Carlisle"
Here come the bikes!
The Great Parade will start Saturday morning at 10:00am on Saturday, June 22. Entrants are encouraged to reflect this year’s theme, “Sounds of Carlisle.” A Grand Prize, 2nd and 3rd prizes will be awarded based on best theme interpretation, originality, crowd response and other judging factors.
Parade entries including all floats, horses and other critters, wagons, cars, trucks and walking groups should assemble in the school parking lot by 9:30 a.m. Access to the parking lot is only available from Church St. (by Green Cemetery) at its intersection with Bedford Road.
Minutemen on the March
The parade will make its way up Bedford Road to pass before the reviewing stand. If history repeats itself, showers of candy will erupt from the parade to the delight of expectant observers.
Let your creativity come through!
All bicycles, scooters and other children’s entries should assemble in the Gleason Library parking lot by 10 a.m.
